TEACHING AND SUPERVISION
I teach and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in motor control, motor learning, and skill acquisition. My teaching is research‑led and industry‑informed, integrating contemporary theory with applied case studies from elite and community sport. I design learning experiences that emphasise critical thinking, practical skill development, and the application of evidence‑based principles to real‑world problems.
I have extensive experience in curriculum design, laboratory‑based teaching, and assessment development, and I actively mentor Honours, Master’s, and PhD students within industry‑engaged research projects. A core focus of my teaching is helping students translate theory into practice, particularly in coaching, performance analysis, and applied sport science roles.
