ProfKylie Williams

Professor Kylie Williams is Head of Discipline, Pharmacy at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a registered pharmacist with more than 35 years of experience in pharmacy practice, education and research. She provides academic leadership for pharmacy education at UTS and has led the development of multiple professional pharmacy programs, including the Master of Pharmacy and the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacist Prescribing.

Kylie is passionate about preparing pharmacists for contemporary and emerging models of care through innovative education, workforce development and expanded scope of practice. Her research and professional activities focus on community pharmacy practice, primary care pharmacy services, pharmacist prescribing, medication safety, and the quality use of medicines. She works closely with government, regulators, professional bodies and healthcare partners to advance pharmacy practice and improve access to high-quality patient care.
