FUNDED RESEARCH

My research interests encompass functional materials chemistry, surface and interface science, electrochemical energy storage, and the development of advanced electrode architectures. I am particularly interested in investigating interfacial physicochemical processes, ion-transfer kinetics, electrochemical reaction mechanisms, and structural property relationships governing the performance of Zn metal batteries. My broader interests include polymeric and hybrid functional materials, dynamic covalent chemistry, ion-conducting networks, surface modification, and advanced characterisation techniques to elucidate interfacial composition, chemical bonding, and electrochemical behaviour.

I am also interested in integrating experimental investigations with computational modelling to establish mechanistic insights and rational design principles for next-generation energy storage materials.
