MrsGemma McErlean

Professor Gemma McErlean is a cancer nursing academic and registered nurse with >23 years’ experience across direct patient care, clinical research, education, and quality/project leadership.  She holds a conjoint appointment with the University of Technology Sydney and Prince of Wales Hospital and was previous Director of the St George Hospital Nursing and Midwifery Centre for Research (2023-2025), supporting clinically embedded, practice-relevant research.  Her qualifications include a PhD (Medicine) (USYD), a Master of Public Health (MPH, Health Promotion) (UNSW), and a Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing (QUT). Gemma is also a graduate of the Australian Institure of Company Directors, Company Directors Course (GAICD).
