FUNDED RESEARCH

Toby's research interests are broadly in the exploration of the biopsychosocial model of health. He has particular interest in how psychological factors interact with the physical experience of chronic illness in order to promote better coping and adaptation. Chronic pain in adults has been his main research focus, examining how the social environment can influence long term adjustment to chronically painful conditions.
