IMPACT SUMMARY
My work connects research on technology and society with questions facing public institutions, educators and professional organisations. At UTS, I chair the Transdisciplinary School AI Working Group and contribute to guidance and decision-support tools for the use of generative AI in research.
I share research through publications, invited talks and interdisciplinary collaborations. Teaching delivered in partnership with Microsoft and ServiceRocket gives students opportunities to investigate technological change using qualitative and design methods.
My current research aims to inform technology policy and organisational decisions by examining AI use in context, professional judgement and the possibilities for institutional adaptation.
