TEACHING AND SUPERVISION
I teach students to investigate how technologies shape work, institutions and everyday life. My teaching combines science and technology studies with qualitative and design inquiry, connecting technological possibilities with questions about public governance, organisational practice and social change.
I coordinate Technologies Reimagined in a Complex World, delivered with ServiceRocket, and Shaping Technologies That Shape Us, delivered with Microsoft, both part of the UTS Transdisciplinary Electives programme. Students develop their inquiry through methods portfolios, sociotechnical mapping, probes, prototypes and collaborative projects.
Across teaching and supervision, I emphasise the relationship between questions, methods and evidence. Students learn to justify methodological choices, interpret findings, recognise limitations and explore alternative possibilities.
